At Waterfront Adventures: Swimming with the Manatees  we have some of the best Kayaks and value on Kings Bay in the quaint little town of Crystal River, Florida. No waiting, no shuttles to busy public launches, private on the water parking, private launch, best equipment. Close to Three Sister’s Springs.

We do have available some of the most durable, comfortable, adjustable, and tracking kayaks in the rental class. All of our kayaks are excellent quality and the finest you would find in a rental fleet.

Single Kayaks

  • Experience the freedom of solo kayaking with our rentals, priced between $35 and $50 depending on your choice of half-day or full-day excursions. Enjoy the flexibility to explore at your leisure while immersing yourself in the beauty of nature's playground.

  • All you need to bring is a dry bag to put anything in that you do not wish to get wet and dry shirt/pants, just in case. We sell dry bags and under-water cell phone bags if you do not have them.

Tandem Kayaks

  • Share the adventure with our tandem kayak rentals, available for both Half-Day and Full-Day excursions. Whether you're seeking a leisurely paddle or a full-day exploration, our rentals offer the perfect opportunity to bond with a partner while experiencing the beauty of the waterways.

  • Discover the joys of shared exploration with our tandem kayak rentals, available for half-day or full-day adventures. Prices range from $55 to $70, allowing you to paddle at your leisure and create unforgettable moments on the waterways with your companion.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I Have To Sign A Wavier To Rent/Operate A Kayak?

You will need to sign a waiver and rental damage agreement before embarking. Rental times are 8:00 am – 12:00 pm/12:00 pm – 4:00 pm or 8:00 am – 4:00 pm for a full day; we do charge $5 per minute for every minute late.

Is There A Chance To See Manatees ?

We also try to give you the best information to let you know where the Manatees have been sighted lately. In fact, you may see more manatees from your kayak than from the boats we use. Kayaks allow you to explore inlets and springs smaller than our boats usually can go. You’ll also have a chance to explore the many “nooks and crannies” of the springs’ inlets and creeks.

What Can I Expect To See While Paddling Around?

Don’t be surprised if you come across river otters frolicking near shore, or if a flock of birds floats right by you. You’ll also get a chance to see some beautiful water tarpon or other fish (no fishing is allowed, however).

Is It Likely To Fall In The Water?

Not to worry, the chances of you taking a tumble into the river are really quite slim, but it’s always best to be prepared. Layered clothes also are a great idea, as the air will warm up over the morning.
